The Aaron Bahr Septet- Places (Real and Imagined) (2021)
This is my second album as a bandleader, and features 7 original compositions and 2 arrangements for Jazz septet. This band is made of an international combination of some of my favorite musicians and people, each with astounding technical ability and a unique voice. Aaron Bahr Dectet- Prologue (2011)
Prologue was my first project as a composer, bandleader, and trumpeter, and featured original compositions and arrangements for a ten-piece group. It's available on iTunes, Apple Music, or Bandcamp!
Jazz Educational Videos
Kenny was a piece I wrote as part of the SF Jazz HUT Foundation Alumni Commission award. It was written in honor of the great composer and flugelhorn player Kenny Wheeler. This was quite a difficult piece, but this band of talented high-school students did an amazing job with this recording!
